We just arrived in Aukland, it is Feb 9th for us. We had no Feb 6th (or maybe it was the 7th) we don't know for sure, since we were waylaid by a storm (either a cyclone, or a typhoon or a hurricane) named Gene. We arrived here at 4:30 pm instead of 7am. So we are at an internet cafe, where it does not cost us $15 per posting.

We are going to reboard our ship now, with our contraband booze and see if we can get it on board. Wish us luck.

PS did you know that Pepto Bismal is a prescription drug here? Wow. But you can get Codene over the counter. Go figure!

We now have 3 or 4 sea days until we get to Syndey. Smooth ones we hope.
