March 6-7
Days at sea continue to be fun. Duane gets up for 9am bridge lesson (which he helps teach, as he remembers what he used to know), then he goes to a meeting of people to discuss bible type issues, then Arleen is up and about. We meet for lunch, the go to bridge play at 2. Then there is something different each day. One day we learned the swing ballroom dance or signed up to have parts in the Lone Ranger radio show. Duane will be the Ranger and Arleen is his nephew. Then Duane usually takes a nap, while Arleen plays the slots, or reads or something (like works on the blog)
After dinner, which is at 8, we have a show, then maybe some dancing, then bed and over again. It still is fun.
The people on the ship are great. There are enough that you don't get bored. It is strange, but even knowing that everyone on this trip could afford it, you cannot tell, for the most part, who scrimped and saved and who used their pocket change. I think that is wonderful.
