SHANGHAI, CHINA

The shopping market in Old Town

Look at the crowds. Beautiful isn't it

Arleen in her natural habitat

March 2nd

We arrived early this morning. It is a cloudy day, but not as cool as expected. No jacket necessary. After all the hot weather we have been having, this feels nice. We went to the Old Town, where the flea market is. Is was very busy with people, but the traffic was not quite as bad as we remembered. We did some shopping, including buying some original paintings by some students. We then came back to the ship and will see an acrobatic show this afternoon. It was nice to visit a place we have been before. It will be great, tho, to leave. The air is very dirty here. The people are very nice, tho. We had no trouble getting help with finding an empty taxi. A nice man on his lunch break helped us out. Couldn't be nicer.

Hi World Travelers,

We are back from our cruise to Panama, and are catching up with your exploits. Thanks for keeping us up to date.

The best photo posting is the molas from South America, not only because of the bright colors, but because when you click on it the photo enlarges and you can see detail. The other photos stay small or get smaller when you click on them.

Sounds like so far you are having a wonderful trip, and have two active volcanoes on your life list now. Very impressive!

Check your email, as we'll send more.
